Cool Light, Warm Shadows
Cool light, warm shadows — something as painters we always hear. I’m still trying to figure that out. In this case I had just gotten some new lights and we were trying them out. They actually turned out to be too cool — cold in fact. But it clearly showed the shadows as warm. This beautiful pensive pose lends itself somewhat to that lighting perhaps. Still working on this one.
